Drew is having fun!

Drew is changing in so many fun ways now. He's still loving his trains, and now Legos. He's enjoying interacting with his little brother, sometimes getting in his face and yelling "HI DEREK!" or imitating what Mama and Papa do by moving Derek's arms and legs around. Drew's vocabulary is increasing daily and he's getting to be quite a conversationalist. He's getting good at planning things. The nightly bedtime routine usually means Drew saying something like "Mama, I want to watch hockey and eat bear cookies instead of reading stories. And you sit with me here." He got some new shoes last night and liked them so much you'd think they had little rockets on them. He ran around the house for five minutes, non-stop! Currently, Drew is going through a little separation anxiety at bed time and when Papa has to leave for work, where he gets really sad. It's hard to see, but it's a reminder that he is growing through another phase of childhood. Drew will be 3 years old in just over a month. Time is flying by quickly and we're enjoying every minute of it. School, anyone?
