Just a little more Christmas for Drew *and* something else...

OK so Drew had a few more gifts waiting for him when he arrived home, which he absolutely loved the taste of:
1. Fun snow hat and blanket from Aunt Vic and Uncle Brian.
2. Sweet Snuggle Buddie from the Williams.
3. Soft (and edible!) animal book from Aunt Brenda.

...and as a bonus -
This was Drew's first "solid food" meal and he ate a huge meal of rice cereal!

Drew is 6 months old today!

Drew had a fantastic day today. It started snowing and he got his first taste of the white stuff!

Well, you don't need me to tell you that Drew had a wonderful Christmas. With a bunch of his family and friends around him, he was not lacking for hugs and kisses (and gifts too!).

DrewCam is Back!!!

Well, I finally received the replacement camera the other day, and I installed it and have been successfully broadcasting for a few days now. If you'll forgive the interface, you can see the little guy now rather than after I update the interface.

Thanksgiving with Drew

Drew went to Santa Barbara for Thanksgiving. There are just a few photos to come, in the next few days!

Mr. Fitness

Drew is showing signs of starting to push himself up. He gets his knees up under him and kicks, and he's starting to push up enough. He's really trying hard to push, but I think he's still needing arm strength. Patience, dad... :-)

Drew came to visit Papa at the office on Friday - and he was Mr. Smiley with all of Papa's workmates!

"Bumbo" seat heaven

We bought Drew this little chair. It's made of soft plastic - the squishy kind, but it's also rigid. He just loves it as you can see! I think it's designed to help infants work on their abs, so we're expecting the six-pack on Drew within a few weeks!

BREAKING NEWS: DREW BACK ON THE GRID

After being "off the grid" for several days, Drew is happy to announce his return, complete with a sneak-preview of his most recent Michigan trip adventure to visit his Great-Grandmother Lilley (shown here). Drew also visits the famous metropolis of Marlette, Michigan, along with other hot spots such as Decker and Kingston!

More Happy Pictures

These photos are from Sunday and Monday. It's interesting to watch Drew and how alert/happy he is right after daytime feedings. In contrast, the last feedings of the day usually make him really sleepy. So now I know when to take the best photos :-)
As you can see in the first photo, Mr. Drew is drooling a lot! His shirts get really soaked. And he just keeps smiling...

Drew is "talking" a lot!

Drew is really making a lot of sentences these days, using advanced words like "wbbba" and "lllrra". We have no idea what he's saying, but he sure sounds convincing!
This photo was taken just after he had a good dinner! Does he look happy or what!!??

Drew is 101 days old.

Drew, after a short absence, is back! He's growing bigger every day. Yes we are measuring this. He continues to amaze us with his talking, and even a giggle or two. He's really enjoying evenings when Daddy comes home, and the whole family can play together.
Today marks a milestone - Drew's first pair of blue jeans!

We took this on Sunday morning, as we were leaving. It was a bit windy, but beautiful and sunny!

Hiking in Lake Tahoe

We went to Lake Tahoe on the weekend to do some hiking and chilling. We hiked in the D.L Bliss State Park, near Meeks Bay. Spectacular scenery, and warm! Drew was a champ, hiking with us for several hours, and mama even fed him on a rock (photo withheld)!

DrewCam has been in testing for a few weeks now, and seems to be working pretty well.
What is it? It's a *live* video stream from Drew's crib, and is available 24/7 for your impulsive "Drew fix". Note that presently, Drew sleeps with the lights off, but that will change sometime within the next couple of days. If you see a black screen, it means it's night and Drew is sleeping (shhhhhhh!).

Drew is 10 weeks old!

Wow - how time is flying. Drew turned 10 on Monday. It is amazing to see how far he's come. In the last few days, we're hearing squeals of delight (while he's watching the US Open) and we can start to hear a little squeaky voice come out in little peeps. He's sleeping better, and playing much more. He loves to have Papa do the bicycle exercise with his feet! He's even outgrowing his early clothes!!! It is an incredibly wondrous time for all of us.

happy weekend

Drew continues to amaze us. Not only did he set a record time on his "play mat", just looking around, and making noises, but he also gave us one of the largest smiles ever, while we were at dinner last night. And no, it's not "just gas"!!!

Party Animal!

Get down, get funky!
Drew went to a party for our friend Lisa last night, and he insisted that I take him on the dance floor! Then when I was tired he cried. :-(

Drew turns 50 days old!

Well, a lot has happened in the last week.
Highlights
- Drew's first plane ride - he did well, no crying with cabin pressure changes. He slept a lot.
- Drew's first swim! I think he was a little nervous as his little fists were clenched, but he seemed to like it
- Drew got to meet some Aunts, Uncles, and his Cousin Eva!

And finally, Drew is 50 days old today. What a great little boy he is. He's smiling more, playing more, and holding his head up a lot.

He's going to Grandma and Grandpa's place in Oregon.
Apart from all the stuff we had to carry(Drew's iPod and accessories!!!), this has been a good experience thus far. I think the airlines are nicer to you when you have a baby. maybe it means we'll get upgraded to first class on our flight :-)
We'll see how the flight goes, but I think Drew will like looking out the window like his dad does.

Little Drew is four weeks old today!

We can hardly believe it - but it's true, Drew is four weeks old today! He has started to change in little ways - lifting his head more, and we have seen smiles starting on his little face. He is growing a bit -- he's probably over 8 lbs by now, but he is still the same cute little guy who came into the world on June 27th.
